Still Some Fabric Left

Get it while it's hot!  The green fabric I featured last week is almost gone so if you are needing a bib set or shirt get it while there is some left.  I recently made a few things out of it for a couple of orders and it really turned out cute.  I bought all that was left at the fabric store but I am checking into ordering some online so just let me know if you want to place an order.
Bib, burp cloth and wipe holder set.  This set sold for $28.  You can get all three items and one item personalized for $25.  These make great shower gifts!!!

Personalized shirt $14

Summer tote personalized $20

Applique and New Boy Fabric

I have always loved applique but was scared to do it at first.  I am happy to say it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be so I will now be offering Applique items.  I hope to purchase more templates soon so be on the look out for that.  Right now I have letters and numbers, a flower, crescent moon, party favor and a few others.  You can see an example below of a birthday shirt I just did for my friend Polly's little boy's first birthday.  Also over the weekend I purchased two new boy fabrics to make bib, burp cloth and wipe holder sets.  Check them out!

Place your order now while these cute fabrics are in stock!

Colors and fabric background can be changed

This one the cherries are done in red buttons.

This star would be the perfect Applique for a 4th of July shirt or dress with red white and blue fabric in the star.

Summer Tote

Today was the "Make it, Bake it, Grow it" auction for the Spouses Club on post.  Each lady brought in an item they had either made, cooked or grown and we had a small action to raise money for the club.  I decided to make a cute little black and white summer tote.  It reminds me of the little shopping bags that you can use in the stores while you shop.  I think this bag would be cute with a Hot Pink monogram or maybe Red.  I have more fabric if you would like to order.  It is only $15 for the bag.  Add $5 for monogram.

New Spring Styles

I just bought some new spring fabrics for the pillow case dresses.  As always if you don't see a color or a pattern that you want just let me know and I can custom make one for you. The dresses are $20 add $5 for personalization.

This one is all ready to go.  The size is 12-18 months but would fit a 2T as a swing top with some capri leggings.  Matching hair bow add $5.

I love this fabric!  This would be so pretty with light pink ribbon and monogram.

For something more fun.  I see this with brown rickrack and brown ribbon.

For those who love lady bugs. This would be adorable with big red bows.

Name Change: Ava Tate Creations

Here we go again.  I wasn't happy with the first choice of the name change so Ava Tate Creations will be the new name.  Ava is my inspiration for my work so it is only fitting to name it after her.  Sew Precious was too common of a name.  Sew Precious is now Ava Tate Creations.  I have been busy making a few new things and hope to get them posted soon.  Stop back by to check out what is going on!  Thanks for visiting!!!

Military bags

Recently I had a friend bring me a uniform from when she was in the military and asked if I could make a bag out of it.  At first I was a little scared because I had always made things from straight fabric so to transform one thing into another was different.  Once I started I was really excited about it and hope to get my hands on one of Mark's uniforms soon to make my own.  The picture shows the bag with Mark's patches on it just so you can see the finished product.

These bags will sell for $30 if you provide the uniform.  If you do not have a uniform to provide it will depend on how much it cost me to find one for you.  I know recently my friend sold her used ones for $15 each but I think that was a good deal and might not always be for that price.  I also have the digital print fabric that I can make one from scratch which would be $45.

This bag is perfect for a diaper bag or just an everyday tote.
The front of the bag is made from the front of the jacket (pockets included) with the zipper removed.

each side has the pockets from the sleeve of the jacket just perfect for sippy cups and bottles

The inside has two small pockets for keys and cell phone and is lined with what ever cute fabric you would like.
